Active Member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
Pediatric Dentistry is one of the nine recognized dental
specialties of the American Dental Association (ADA).
Pediatric dentists complete two to three years of
additional specialized training (after four years of dental
school), which includes study in child psychology, growth and
development. Pediatric dentists are trained to provide
comprehensive, preventative and therapeutic oral health care for
infants and children through adolescence, including those with
special health care needs. Our
specialization allows us to perform the most up-to-date and
thorough treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental
problems, including tooth decay, pre-orthodontics and traumatic
injuries.
